Capitalizing the scenario, her brother’s wife, force her to marry Arham, who proves out to be a psycho just after marriage and then comes Nihal in the life of Umm-e-Kulsoom; a filthy rich lad with deceptive appearance.
Soon after the marriage of Nihal and Umm-e-Kulsoom, Nihal reveals his real self and force Umm-e-Kulsoom to forgo her religious beliefs and rituals. And ultimately Umm-e-Kulsoom, who was known for her mesmerizing Quranic recitation, turns out to be a singer of national repute.

Meri Zaat Zarra E Benishan
A saga that spans over two generations and is about the clash between two opposite schools of thought, the progressive and the very conservative. The story revolves around three brothers who have very different outlooks on life and bring up their children according to their own life philosophies. The oldest doesn’t believe in educating his daughters although he sends his son abroad for higher education; while the youngest moves to Dubai, and makes sure his daughters get the best education possible.Destiny takes one of the youngest brother’s educated daughters back to her homeland and her family find it hard to accept an educated and bright ‘girl’ in their midst. Fate sees this young girl marrying one of her own cousins despite opposition from the whole family. In a desperate bid to get rid of her, the heroine is falsely accused of infidelity by her mother-in-law, who falsely swears on the Quran, forcing her son to divorce his new wife. This has long term consequences on the whole family, who later repent the lies they were all a part of and desperately try to make amends…although perhaps now it is too late. A moving and thought provoking family drama.

The backdrop of the play is TV productions, but its main story is social as well as an emotional one. The story revolves around a local female writer, a director and a heroine from across the border, their lives change as they meet and work together on a TV serial.
Writer Bina brings a story for a serial to a TV director Asim who is working for a local channel and during work they fall in love and later get married. A Sikh heroine Surendar Kaur (AKA Shahla) is brought from across the border, who stays at Asim and Bina’s home. Asim’s father Salman is the owner of the city’s biggest ad agency. His wife Zaini always feels inferior to him.
When the production begins, Asim’s maximum time is spent with Shahla. When Bina gives ideas for the production, she is cut short by Asim who ask her to deal only with the domestic affairs. Asim and Shahla get closer and closer as she feels Asim could be her stepping stone while Asim has fallen in love with her. Bina has not been able to conceive so Asim marries Surendar.
Salman meets Soofia, who is the daughter of his manager and a homely and hard working girl. Salman asks his manager for her hand in marriage which makes the manager very happy… But life is not so simple…
